Sima is the visionary owner of Basin Street Hair & Skin Lounge. Sima’s passion for both art of hair and jazz music has inspired her to establish the salon with a unique environment for her clients. She envisioned a salon, where clients could relax, sip on a beverage and listen to jazz while the salon experts are performing their services.
Sima is an advanced licensed cosmetologist from 3 different countries for over 20 years. Her solid training at Sassoon academy in Toronto and her continued advanced training through out her career, has made her the master of her craft. Her motto is to bring the most cutting edge styles and fashion by designing looks to enhance her client’s features and life style.
Carie Samonset
LICENSED ESTHETICIAN
Carie is a Licensed Esthetician, she was born and raised in Southern California and graduated from Elite Cosmetology. Education is a priority to Carie and she has attended several training workshops on product knowledge including, Image, PCA, Repechage, DermaQuest and Bio elements. She is constantly educating herself on progressive treatments and products to provide you with current knowledge and make sure you and your skin are always healthy and beautiful.
Carie’s goal is not only to treat, but also educate her clients before, during and after treatments so that all experiences are both enjoyable and positive. Carie’s specialty is Corrective Facials and waxing
Cami Crochet
STYLIST COSMETOLOGIST
Cami is a licensed cosmetologist who attended Golden West’s School of Cosmetology. She hails from Texas, where she earned her BFA in Art History from the University of North Texas, and she is happy to now call Newport Beach her home.
Cami has always had a passion for hair, art, and all things creative, and it definitely shows in her work. She is constantly educating herself on new styles and techniques. Cami’s goal is to offer each client a unique experience and a style to call their own.
